Layne Knox is an enrolled member of the Oglala Lakota Nation. Born and raised on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, she worked for the United States Air Force for over six years as the Family Advocacy Program Assistant in the Mental Health Clinic. She graduated from Kieser University, Ft. Lauderdale, FL with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science. Currently, she is working towards her master's degree in Healthcare Administration. She hopes to be able to use some of her experience and knowledge working here at TVCDC. She has lived away from the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation for over ten years and traveled all over the world, but her long-term goal was always to come back to the reservation and help her people with the type of care, knowledge, and experience she has gained over the years. She is excited to be joining the Thunder Valley CDC team as an Administrative Assistant!
